About Our Humanitarian Mission

I was in Bangkok on a Sunday morning and I hired a taxi to attend a Burmese church there. As we passed by a red-light district, the driver turned around and asked me if I would like to find a prostitute. He persuaded, “I know a place right near here. There are many beautiful young girls, only fourteen and fifteen years old, from Burma.” From Burma? I felt extremely offended, and then I realized that he didn’t know that I was a Burmese. I told him to drive me straight to the church.

I came back to my apartment after church and wept for the entire evening. Burma, my home country, has been in political turmoil for decades, and the resulting poverty force some parents to sell their children to the child traffickers, who exploit them for hard labor and sex slavery. Many times, when I passed by a dirty alley in Thailand, I saw young people working in a deplorable condition and my heart sunk to hear them talking in Burmese. Alas! We used to be a proud and prosperous nation, but now we are being sold as slaves, like Joseph in the Hebrew Scripture, who was sold by his own brothers.

As an exile, I felt powerless to make a difference. But, each time I remember this story, I wept. Recently, as Burma appears in the news more frequently, the seed that had been buried in my heart started to disturb me as if it was about to germinate. I am not a political activist, nor have the eloquence and skills to raise funds for the projects that I have in mind to improve the lives of the displaced Burmese children.

However, God has given my wife and me the gift of technology skills. Backed up by a highly professional team of computer programmers and web developers, we are able to provide professional web development services to raise funds to allow this seed to germinate and bear fruit.

This is how TrinityMatrix came about and we invite you to partner with us to transform lives!

Some Practical Projects in Plan:

  • To develop outreach projects in accessible neighboring countries, such as Thailand;
  • To rescue and shelter the displaced children from being exploited (Read this story for an example for how they are being exploited);
  • To rescue and shelter those who have been sold for sex slavery;
  • To provide education opportunity to improve their lives for a better future.
